Even War Has Rules, Presented by the American Red Cross
Class - In Person & Zoom | Available (Membership Required)
Today, armed conflicts are ongoing globally. It may seem there are no rules in war; however, there are rules in war, and they make a difference. Even War Has Rules is an introduction to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and how it governs armed conflicts. We will discuss the sources of law that apply to armed conflicts, the fundamental principles, and how IHL protects people and places during armed conflicts in order to provide you with a better understanding and to be better able to evaluate the actions of the parties.
