Many of the topics covered will be a look at Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's inspiration for Sherlock Homes and his attempt to kill him off, the evolution of Holmes as an iconic character especially on the silver screen, an examination of Dr. Watson, their lapses in popularity, and their business which has become a cottage industry with fan clubs across American and around the world.
