Lessons from Shakespeare's Female Characters

Class - In Person & Zoom | Available (Membership Required)

Shakespeare's characters offer valuable lessons for all of us today, and this is especially true of his female characters. Although he wrote at a time when women's lives were limited by legal, religious, and cultural dictates, they demonstrate intelligence, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complicated lives. This talk addresses the specific ways several of Shakespeare's female characters provide insight into timeless lessons that are as valuable to us today as they were hundreds of yeara ago.
