Are We in an Existential Emergency? What Can We Do?
Class - In Person Only | Available (Membership Required)
Humanity has reengineered Earth's Life-Support System (ELSS) and changed the global physiology of this system creating an existential emergency of climate change, biodiversity, pollution, and a social system of injustice. ELSS now may be heading for a significant shift or collapse, creating dire consequences. The first hour we will discuss the extent and urgency of this emergency and what can bring us out of it. The second we will discuss ongoing activities in our area from The Third Act, people of retirement age who tackle the urgent issues we face.
