Posocins and Preserves: Natural Heritage of Southern Virginia Beach

Class - In Person & Zoom | Available (Membership Required)

Welcome to the unspoiled heart of coastal Virginia. This class will explore the city's wild, untouched core. Learn about the North Landing River, Back Bay, and northern parts of Currituck Sound--a vast network of water and wetlands. Discover why this ancient, water-woven landscape is a critical haven for hundreds of rare species and migratory birds on the Atlantic Flyway. This is your chance to connect with this environmental wonderland.
