Waterways & Wildlife

Class - In Person & Zoom | Available (Membership Required)

Representatives of Lynnhaven River Now (LRNow) will share the story of the organization, examine the overall health of our local waterways, highlight the restoration and protection initiatives currently underway and how you can help. The class will also dive into conservation gardening—showing how everyday choices in our own yards and neighborhoods can create habitats for wildlife and contribute to cleaner, healthier waterways.

Terri Gorman is the Pearl Homes Manager for Lynnhaven River Now, where she works with residents and communities to incorporate earth-friendly practices in and around their homes that positively impact local waterways and the environment. She is a Virginia Wesleyan University graduate and a Certified Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional. Terri enjoys exploring our region's natural areas, gardening, and engaging with the community.
