Tour of the Holy Land and History of the Crusades (Kingswood)

This course will take a visual tour of the sites that are holy to the Jewish Community, Christian Community and Muslim Community. The course will also explain the history of what is known as the Holy Land from early Hebrew History through to the Early Middle Ages Crusade Period, covering the seven major Crusades. There will be arms and armor displays as well as pictures of just about every important site revered by Jews, Christians and Muslims alike.
Dr. Packet will also talk about the various Crusader Knight orders stressing the Templars, Hospitallers, Teutonic Knights as well as some of the lesser known orders. In addition, Dr. Packet's sources for the presentations will be available.

Dr. Bob Packett is a dynamic educator, history buff, and podcaster extraordinaire with over 57 years of teaching experience under his helmet (yes, he started when he was eight) and more than seven years of weekly podcast publishing, recently surpassing 2000 episodes!
He has a masters of history with a focus in Ancients and is a Napoleonic Scholar.
