Edgar Allen Poe was a literary genius. The creator of the detective mystery. An unparalleled master of the short story. A poet that places him in the same breath as Shakespeare and Keats. An essayist whose ideas are as fresh today as when he wrote them. But, his personal life… that’s another story altogether. We will look at both his breathtaking works and his brief life, which is as mysterious as one of his iconic stories.
