This engaging session clears up common misconceptions about hospice and palliative care and replaces them with clear, accurate information. Participants will learn what these services truly offer, who can benefit, and how they support both individuals and families. You’ll leave with a better understanding and greater confidence in navigating care options when they matter most.

Dawn Gramling is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 20 years of experience as a medical social worker.  Dawn is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker and has been working at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for 9 years. She currently works as a hospice educator in the clinical setting and the community.
