Get Lost in Nature Photography

Award-winning artist and photographer, Joan Pearse, will share a PowerPoint of her nature photographs featuring inspirational and thought-provoking quotes, educational tidbits and more. Studies show that it is good for our overall wellness to be in nature. Studies have also shown that looking at nature photography can be calming, help to lower anxiety and blood pressure and can lead to positive emotions such as awe and gratitude. Don't miss this opportunity to see beautiful landscapes, sunsets, flowers, birds, animals and more as you get lost in nature through Joan's lens.
Following the nature presentation, there will be a short creative writing experience. Bring paper and a pen if you wish to participate. No previous experience is necessary.
Joan Pearse has degrees in Fine Art, Art Education, and a Masters in Public Administration. Being lost in the process of art is a vital part of her being. Getting Lost in Nature is one of her favorite ways to find peace, to connect to her spirituality and to use her creativity while sharing the beauty of nature.
