Still Time – A Short Senior Retreat
Special Event | Registration opens 8/31/2026 8:58 AM EDT
Registration deadline: Nov. 3rd
Yes, there is still time to grow! Many want some still time for quiet (just for me time) to reflect on aging. Using the poetry and wisdom of Joyce Rupp in her book, Vessels of Love this four-hour class time will mix input, conversation and quiet to reflect on the gifts and challenges of aging. There will be time for independent walking the campus, sitting in sacred spaces, reflecting in nature, discovering wisdom on your own.
Storyteller/Storylistener Sheila Otto (spiritual director, counselor) will create space for some short presentations, private reflection time, campus meditative walking, small group conversation. There will be beverages to accompany your own brown bag lunch. We can explore some of our reflections and find support in our shared journey. Joyce Rupp is a Christian writer, but Still Time is designed for anyone who is interested in still growing while aging.
Consider bringing a journal and pen or tablet, and certainly weather appropriate gear if you plan to walk around the campus, and a brown bag lunch.
