Dig into and discuss the biggest topics in international affairs! Explore topics ranging from the impact of tariffs in the changing role of the US in the world economy, a look at the future of multilateralism and global relations, reflections on US-China relations, Africa and more. Discussions are based on materials from the Foreign Policy Association which selects eight critical issues each year.

Read a chapter in the briefing book at home, then watch a video briefing at the start of class before diving into a spirited and structured discussion of the most critical global issues facing America today. The required textbook is included in the class fee and will be available for pickup by 3/11 (details will be emailed to all registrants).

Facilitator Hugh Grefe earned a Master of Arts in History at the University of Toledo and has served in a variety of senior staff and board roles in the greater Toledo community. In 2002 he was awarded a Fannie Mae Foundation Fellowship to participate in the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
