This class will explore the concept of nationalism, with special emphasis on the rise of Christian nationalism and its impact on contemporary politics and policy making. The core principles of Christian Nationalism will be discussed and key figures in the movement will be noted. Further, reaction to Christian nationalism on the part of political, social, religious and cultural leaders will be examined in detail.
