DESCRIPTION COMING SOON: Class will examine the mysteries of Easter Island in the first session the second will look at the art of Australia and recent accessions of Oceania that the museum has recently acquired and will be on view when the museum reopens in 2027 in a new gallery
Dr. David Guip is an Emeritus Professor of Art and Art History in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Toledo and past Chairman of the Department of Art . He is a Master Docent at the Toledo Museum of Art conducting tours and Gallery Groups of adults focusing on advanced study of exhibitions and the permanent collections. In addition he was the recipient of National Endowment of the Humanities Fellow in African Art and an Outstanding Teaching Award from the University of Toledo, where he has taught courses in the Ethnographic Art.
