We all tell ourselves stories about the people around us—but what if we’re only seeing part of the picture? This engaging and interactive session explores how our assumptions shape what we see, and how simple shifts in perspective can lead to greater understanding. Through reflection, discussion, and brief activities, participants will practice practical ways to bring more curiosity and empathy into everyday interactions.
Dawn Gramling is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 20 years of experience as a medical social worker. Dawn is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker and has been working at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for 9 years. She currently works as a hospice educator in the clinical setting and the community.
